About

What is PHSP?

The PHSP was established in April 2017 following the closure of SummitSkills, to lead and support the development of standards, qualifications and apprenticeships for the plumbing and domestic heating industry. It will seek to work with other key stakeholders or organisations to either deliver and or facilitate the plumbing and heating industry skills needs and agenda.

The PHSP consists of the two plumbing and heating trade associations along with BPEC to lead on the industry’s skills agenda. It aims to support (where possible) essential skills development activity to ensure that appropriate and consistent standards, qualifications and apprenticeships continue to be available across the UK as well as addressing wider skills needs.
